Drama is late as Man Utd Win Lyon Thriller to reach the Europa semifinals, spur

Manchester United performed fantastic performance in extra time to beat Lyon at Old Trafford and reach the European League semifinals.

The Red Devils have been detained 2-2 in France last week and also held 2-2 tonight after 90 minutes.

Lyon forced the game to be extra time after coming from two goals to level. But Manchester United who won a clash of 5-4 after extra time.

United scored two goals in the last minute extra time to complete his shocking return from 4-2 against 10-Pria Lyon, increasing to the semifinals with an aggregate victory 7-6.

Ruben Amorim’s side now faces the semifinals with athletic bilbao.

Previously, Tottenham Hotspur also reached the European League semifinals after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 in the second leg of their last eight matches.

The penalty in the first round of Dominic Solanke was enough to keep the SPUR season alive after the first leg score was 1-1, when they advanced with an aggregate 2-1 victory.

In other European League ties, Athletis Bilbao advanced in front of Rangers after a 2-0 victory, while Bodo/Glimt defeated Lazio 3-2 with a penalty after a 3-E aggregate draw after extension of time.

In the European conference league, Chelsea ordered their semifinals despite the 2-1 defeat at home. The Blues have defeated Legia Warsaw 3-0 from the first leg, so they passed 4-2 in the aggregate.
