Eagles Camp opened Monday when Chelle revealed the 23-person squad for the important W’CUPQ

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has summoned 23 players for the FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Nigeria against Lesotho crocodiles and the Benin Republic Squirrel.

The squad includes Captain William Troost-Ekong, Stanley Nwabali, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Osimhen, and Moses Simon.

Semi Ajayi defender, who sat in the September match due to injury, made a return, while the Moffi -based Termfi in France and Olusegun Olusegun based in Russia also returned to Flip.

In addition, Jerome Akor Adams has received his first call to the senior team.

The players are expected to gather at the Polokwane on Monday, October 6, to start preparations for the match against Lesotho.

Nigeria will face Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Friday, October 10, before returning to Uyo to face group leaders Benin Republic in their last qualifiers on Tuesday, October 14.
