Easter: the cleric urges the Nigerians to embrace love, unity

The senior and founder of Zion Flames Prophetic and Intercessory Ministries (Zfpim), Apostle Promised Momo, invited the Nigerians to avoid ethnic bigotry and embrace love and unity to advance the nation.

In an Easter message signed and shared personally with Lagos journalists, Apostle Momo underlined the need for the Nigerians to be seen as brothers and sisters, regardless of ethnic differences.

“We have to look for ways to unify the nation in love, because the United we are standing and uniforms we fall,” he said.

The cleric condemned the acts of hatred, violence and exploitation, affirming: “It is not the will of God to see people who killed or hate each other, deceive each other, exploiting people or prey to weak”.

He urged the Nigerians to build a company founded on love and unity, warning that progress would be elusive without these values.

Reflecting on the meaning of Easter, Apostle Momo described the holiday as a milestone of the Christian faith.

“Easter Sunday, or Sunday of Resurrection, is one of the most significant Christian holidays of the calendar,” he said.

“The day commemorates the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who resurrecting after three days in the grave.”

Citing John 3:16, he added: “Jesus Christ is personified love … I want to see love to return to life among us Nigerians”.

The shepherd’s message arrives at a time when Nigeria continues to face ethnic tensions and social divisions, underlining the urgency of its request for unity.
