Paris Saint-Germain’s latest signing Jennifer Echegini has expressed her excitement as she embarks on her new journey with the French club following her transfer from Juventus in July.
The 23-year-old joined her new teammates for training on Tuesday, marking her first session with PSG after representing Nigeria at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Echegini is eager to integrate into the team and adapt to the challenges of the Première Ligue.
“I’m back from the Olympics and I’m very active with my new club. I’m excited for the next chapter,” Echegini shared on her social media.
Echegini made a huge impact during his time at Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 16 games before signing a three-year contract with PSG, which runs until June 2027.
She also scored Nigeria’s only goal in the women’s football tournament at the Paris Olympics.
