Edo Gov suspends the traditional rule … Theconclaveng

The governor of the state of Edo, senator on Monday Okpebholo, ordered the immediate suspension of Dr. George Oshiapi Egabor, the Okumagbe of Uwano Kingdom, Agenebode, Estako East Local Government of the Edo State Area, on recent cases of kidnapping and killings in his domain.

His suspension was contained in a press statement by his main press secretary, Fred Iua.

The declaration states that “already its secretary, the chief Peter Homiogbemhi, was arrested by the competent authorities, following a recent accident that led to the death of a head of the building, John Ikhamate.

“The suspension of the traditional sovereign is indefinite.”
