Edo involves 100 teachers for technical education

On Friday, the government of the Edo state declared that it has started the recruitment of 100 Technical College teachers to increase the workforce in the education sector.

He declared that the gesture was to ensure that young people acquired skills, in addition to the educational certificates of the Convention to increase their employability and be self -employed.

The commissioner for education, Dr. Paddy Iyamu, revealed this Friday to the executive members of the chapel of the correspondents of the Union of Nigerian journalists (Nuj), Edo State Council.

Iyamu also declared that the government has started the issue of promotion letters to 8,476 teachers of public schools.

The commissioner explained that the promotion aimed to motivate teachers for optimal services.

He also revealed that an interview is currently underway for the recruitment of 500 teachers in basic and senior secondary schools.

Iyamu observed: “The quality of teachers is the quality of our children.

“He is doing a lot to see how we can get the best hands for the well -being and general benefit of our students,” he added.
