The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the state of Edo has suspected the Secretary of the Organization of the Party, Tony Alile and the other three without limits due to violations.
Other affected people are Publicity Secretary, Chris Ojiekere, Youth Leader, Benjamin Omonzokpia, and female leader, Yami Jatto.
The quartet was suspended because of actions that were considered detrimental to unity, integrity, and the function of the right party.
The party announced the decision in the communication issued at the end of the meeting held on Saturday in Benin City.
Communike signed by the party leader in the state, secretary, Hyacinth Esangbedo, and 10 others, was released to journalists on Sunday.
The statement reads: “The Edo state chapter from the social democratic party has suspended four members without time limits because of behavior that is considered detrimental to unity, integrity, and orderly functions of the party.

“The party has taken a disciplinary action that determines the four members whose actions are a harsh violation of Articles 19, Section 19.1, 19.2, and 19.3 of the party’s constitution.
“Their behavior is considered detrimental to unity, integrity, and orderly functions of the party.
“Immediately, the Organizing Secretary, Tony Alile, Secretary of Publicity, Chris Ojiekere, Youth Leader, Benjamin Omonzokpia, and Women’s Leaders, Yami Jatto has been suspended independently from the party.
“Their violations are included, but not limited to, holding an unauthorized meeting that is contrary to established party protocols, making comments that are underestimated and inflamed to the party and their leadership.”
