The Economic and Financial Crime Commission has released social media activists, Martins Otse alias Verderkarkman, from detention.
VDM was arrested by EFCC operators in the Bank Trust (GTBBBANK) guarantee site in Abuja last Friday.
He was charged at the Federal Capital High Court (FCT) on Tuesday.
The Head of the EFCC media and publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed on Tuesday that activists had been given guarantees but remained in detention while waiting for the fulfillment of the guarantee conditions.

Sahara’s journalist publisher, Omoyle Sowore, confirmed the release of VDM in his X -grip on Wednesday.
He wrote: “Thanks to the endless efforts of all @thatverydarkman have been released from unfair detention at @officiefcc. He with a huge lawyer, @adeyanjudeji.”
