The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has stated an Elie Bitar desired for alleged involvement in fraud related to the online trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).
EFCC, in a bulletin released on Wednesday said the 41 -year -old player was sought because of the alleged fraud scheme carried out through CBEX.
The platform has been in the spotlight for some fraud committed by its promoters in this country.

The notification reads: “The public hereby is told that Elie Bitar, whose photo appeared above, was sought by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly carried out on an online trading platform called the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).
“Bitar’s last address is in Eng. George Enemoh Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, Lekki, State Lagos.
“Anyone who has useful information about the existence of Bitar to contact one of the zone offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.”
