The technical advisor of Enyimba, Stanley Egma, says that the team has put them behind the problems of the first stanza of the 2024/2025 NPFL season and has now focused on a stronger second round campaign, reports Complecesports.com.
Egma talked moments after the nine -time champions secured their first victory of the second stanza. Despite overcoming his first round struggles, Egma admitted concern about the current position of the team in the NPFL classification.

“I joined this team recently, and players are gradually understanding my philosophy, just like I am knowing better. This growing understanding is the reason we obtained this result.
“Little by little we are leaving our first round fights behind us, but we are still worried about our position at the League table. Our approach is to improve our position.
“It is still a job in progress, and it is not yet time to celebrate because we have a lot to do to climb the table. I congratulate the players for their efforts and encourage them to do more so that we can achieve better results in the next games, ”concluded Egma.
Enyimba is currently eighth in the NPFL table with 31 points after 22 games. They will face Akwa United at the accessory on Sunday 23 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
