Eid-el-Fitr: AMAC President Congratulates Muslims, Urges to Continue Praying for Tinubu, Wike

The Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, extended his warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah within the Council and across the nation for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement on Friday, signed by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki, in his Sallah message, Maikalangu urged residents to carry forward the lessons of piety, sacrifice and discipline learned during the fast.

He stressed that the sustainable development of the Federal Capital Territory requires the collective spiritual and physical support of all citizens.

The President took this opportunity to once again express his profound gratitude to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, for his unwavering support and mentorship.

He further called on all residents to remain steadfast in their prayers for the Minister, stressing that the “infrastructure revolution” currently witnessed across the FCT is a testament to the vision and dedication of the Minister.

Maikalangu also expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his wisdom in nominating Barr. Nyesom Wike leading the FCT.

The AMAC President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, promising that his second term will focus heavily on mainstreaming the FCT Minister’s efforts within AMAC’s rural communities.

He said: “As we celebrate this joyous occasion, I want to especially thank my mentor, Minister FCT, for his leadership and for standing by our side.

“His support was instrumental in our recent re-election victory, a mandate we hold sacred as we continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of AMAC.

“We thank Mr. President for giving the people of FCT an artist like Minister Wike.

“Wike’s appointment as FCT Minister has bridged the gap between government and the grassroots; we are seeing the Renewed Hope Agenda in action across every tarmacked road and every completed project.

“Let us celebrate in peace and continue to pray for the prosperity of our dear Council, the FCT and Nigeria at large. Barka da Sallah!”
