El-Kanemi out of CAF Confederation Cup after defeat to Dadje FC

Nigerian club El-Kanemi Warriors have been knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup by Benin club Dadje FC.

Dadje secured a 2-1 win in the second leg of their group stage tie, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, and won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

The continental journey is over for El-Kanemi Warriors as they will now focus on their domestic league campaign.

Nigeria’s other representative, Enyimba, advanced directly to the next round, having received a bye from the preliminary round.
