Empty streets as #EndBadGovernance protests kick off in Jos (Photo)

The streets of Jos, the Plateau State capital, were virtually deserted as the #EndBadGovernance protests kicked off on Thursday morning.

The city’s public streets were practically empty as security forces consisting of soldiers and police positioned themselves and their armored tanks at strategic locations to avoid any disruption of law and order.

Meanwhile, some protesters were seen gathering and mobilizing youth at Secretariat Junction in preparation for a protest and march to Government House in Rayfield.

The 10-day #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest was organised by aggrieved Nigerians to draw the government’s attention to their dissatisfaction with the hardships caused by the policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the general poor governance in the country.
