EPL: Man Utd, Spurs suffered defeat as Liverpool’s victory, Chelsea Draw

Manchester United suffered a big defeat in the hands of Newcastle United at a Premier League meeting on Sunday night.

Elsewhere, Liverpool leaders are getting closer to win the title with a 2-1 defeat of West Hame at Anfield.

The Reds moved to potentially win one of the Premier League titles as the final header of Captain Virgil Van Dijk to seal victory for the host.

Victory means that if Arsenal lost on IPSWICH next weekend, the Reds could finish the title by defeating Leicester.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Ipswich Town played a 2-2 draw.

Blues hopes to meet the requirements for the Disten Champions League, because the lottery leaves them in fifth, three points behind the Forest Nottingham who are in third place and in front of Aston Villa who are sixth with a goal difference.

IPSwich is 14 points adrift of security after Wolves’ victory against Tottenham in Molineux.
