Escape Death score when air planes turn from the runway on Port Harcourt (Video)

At least 127 passengers and crew members took the P47190 airplane aircraft, escaped the death on Sunday morning after the plane turned from the runway while landing at the Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo International Airport at Port Harcourt.

A statement that confirmed the incident signed by the Air Peace Limited spokesman, an airline operator, Osifo-Wiskey Efey, said that flights operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt, experienced a “runway tour” after landing safely at the airport.

“The plane turned slightly from the runway without damage. All passengers descended safely and calmly, and no injury was reported,” the statement said.

Also confirmed the incident in a statement, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Federal Nigeria Airport Authority (FAAN), Obiageli Orah, said the safety protocol was activated quickly and all passengers were safely calculated.

“All 127 passengers on the ship were evacuated safely, and no victims were recorded,” he said.

“Passengers and airlines must anticipate the possibility of delays in flights departing to Port Harcourt as a result of the incident. Faan convinces the public that safety and security remain a top priority, and further renewal will be given when the investigation continues,” he added.
