Esthington FC is preparing to take the Nigeria League by assault

Nigeria’s football landscape is ready to witness the strength of a new addition with the birth of a base soccer club, Esthington FC headed by Eng. Dr. Darlington Ugota.

The Club guided by former Nigerian International, Akinkunmi Julius Akinsehinde aims to nourish young talents, provide a platform for aspiring soccer players and contribute to the development of sport at the base level.

Dr. Ugota, who is about to create a cultivation broth for future soccer stars, has established the club to close the gap between raw talent and professional opportunities. The club will focus on training programs, rigorous skills and tutoring programs to equip young players with the necessary tools for success in the competitive world of football.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Ugota expressed his passion for the development of football and the importance of investing in youth sports. “Nigeria is blessed with a large amount of football talent, but many lack the necessary exposure and opportunities to prosper. Our goal is to identify, nurture and guide these young talents towards the achievement of their dreams,” he said.

The club, which will be based in Nigeria, will participate in local and regional competitions, giving players the opportunity to show their skills in a competitive stage. There are also plans to establish associations with established football academies and clubs to provide greater exhibition and professional career for outstanding players.

One of the partners, Morrison Simpson, founder of Dee Circle Sports Consults, expressed his confidence that the club has the potential to shape the future of Nigerian football.

He stressed that the club will enjoy structured programs, the experienced coaching staff and a clear vision, adding that the new club is expected to become a power in the development of grassroots football.
