Spain have progressed to the knockout stages of Euro 2024 after beating Italy in their second group game on Thursday night.
After a goalless first half, Riccardo Calafiori’s own goal in the 55th minute was enough for Spain to secure a 1-0 win and progress to the knockout stages.
Spain have won their opening game against Croatia 3-0, and will face Albania in their final Group B meeting.
Meanwhile, The Three Lions of England squandered a chance to progress to the knockout stages as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark Eatlier on the day.

England should have topped Group C with a win after the previous draw between Slovenia and Serbia – but were lucky to get a point from the game.
Harry Kane scored a fourth consecutive major tournament goal to give England an 18th-minute lead after which they shrank into their shell.
Denmark dominated the rest of the game and got the equalizer they deserved when Morten Hjulmand scored the equalizer from 25 yards after 34 minutes.
The Three Lions will face Slovenia in their final Group C match while Denmark will play Serbia, as the race for qualification continues.
