Everton is on the market for a striker after his loss of 1–0 on Monday to Leeds United newly promoted.

The club currently has only four recognized strikers: Beto, Unliman Ndiaye, Thinher Barry and Jack Grealish.

There are several attacking players in the Everton list, and one of them is Christantus Uche.

Originally a midfielder, the Nigerian has made the transition to a striker capable of playing as a striker or attacker midfielder.

His versatility would adapt well to the tactical configuration of David Moyes, with the Everton manager known for changing between formations such as 4-4-2, 5-4-1, 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-3.

Everton is preparing an offer of 30 million euros to prove Getafe’s disposition to sell. Uche scored and helped in the opening game of the season of the season against Celta Vigo.

Getafe manager Pepe Bordalás, told the press on Monday that it is expected that Uuche will stay:

“He is our player. We have full confidence in Him. We knew it would be important today, and it was. His level does not surprise us. At this time, he is a Getafe player and we trust that he will stay here.”

Although Getafe does not want to lose Uche, they could be forced to sell due to players registration problems.

The club needs funds to register new signings under the financial regulations of the League.

Uche has been linked to a getafe departure from the beginning of the transfer window, attracting the interest of clubs in Italy, the Premier League and other sides of the League.
