Nigerian crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has openly opposed being labeled an ex-convict.
The transvestite who frowned when interviewed by influencer Isbae said that he could not be called an ex-convict just because he had been punished for squandering his money.
”I am not an ex-convict because I cannot be punished for wasting my money. I am not an ex-convict. I will not accept that,” Bobrisky said in an interview.
The controversial figure admitted to treating his detention as a “vacation” and revealed he would be back to throwing money at social gatherings but would only focus on throwing money.

”It’s time to rest. I’ve worked hard and I think they made the right decision for me. Their decision was to destroy me, but unfortunately nothing happened to the lady from Lagos. I’m still fine and will continue to be fine.’
“These people really want to destroy me. I’ve never seen anywhere where they punish someone for wasting their own money. It’s like a movie. ‘I wasted my own hard-earned money and I got sentenced where we have a lot of criminals. That’s a lot.’
Bobrisky was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Federal High Court in Lagos on four counts of naira misuse and two counts of alleged money laundering.
He was convicted of misappropriation of Naira after pleading guilty to four charges and was later sentenced to six months in prison without the option of a fine.
