EXCLUSIVE: No Rivalry With Uzoho, Okoye, Others – Super Eagles Goalie Adeleye

Adebayo Adeleye says there is a cordial relationship among the goalkeepers in the Super Eagles.

The 23-year-old was the among the three goalkeepers invited for Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

The Hapoel Jerusalem shot stopper was named among the substitutes in the game with the Super Eagles trouncing their opponent 6-0.

The likes of Maduka Okoye, Ojo Olorunleke and Victor Sochima are the other goalkeepers eyeing the number one position.

“There is no rivalry among us (goalkeepers). We are one family here, challenging one another to do better.

“Whoever gets the nod to be in goal always have the support of others.”

Adeleye has made one appearance for the Super Eagles.
