Manchester City avoided the scare of defeating the Plymouth Argyle fighting championship club in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Plymouth entered the contest at the back of a fourth round victory against Liverpool.
Then they took the lead in 38 minutes through Maksym Talovierov before Nico O’Reilly equalized for the city in a minute of detention time of the first half.
O’Reilly got his second in the game to put City 2-1 forward before Kevin de Bruyne added the third goal in the 90th minute.
In Vitality, Bournemouth surpassed Wolverhampton with penalties to reach the next round.
After the regulation time and extra time ended 1-1, Bournemouth proceeded to win 5-4 in a criminal shooting.
