Faan MD, Olubunmi Kuku elected VP ACI Afrika, became a permanent member of the World Management Council

In a historic moment for Nigeria and all African aviation sectors, Olubunmi Kuku, Director of the Federal Nigerian Airport Authority (FAAN), has been elected as Vice President of ACI Africa.

Aci Africa plays an important role in advocating for flight interests throughout the continent.

This election not only highlighted his leadership but also appointed him from the previous role as a regional advisor to Africa to permanent members in the ACI World Regulatory Council.

Ratification occurred during the 34th ACI African General Assembly held in Lusaka, Zambia. With 56 member countries throughout Africa.

The ACI World Management Board oversees around 2,100 airports globally and consists of 814 members in 169 countries.

In his new position, Mrs. The nails will fight for initiatives aimed at promoting a safe and passenger airport and increasing connectivity throughout Africa.

Reacting to the appointment, Olubunmi Kuku said, “Elected as Vice President of ACI Africa is an extraordinary honor, which I do not consider lightly.

“I am committed to collaborating with my colleague to ensure that our airport not only meets international standards for safety and efficiency but also functions as a critical driver of economic growth and connectivity for our countries,” he said.
