The photos show Nigerian star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, award-winning artiste Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known in the entertainment industry as Burna Boy, and controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable at the wedding of Nigerian artiste David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.

Photos circulating on social media show Wizkid, Burna Boy and Portable posing with Davido at his recent wedding.
Davido tied the knot with Nigerian chef, model and social media personality, Chioma Rowland at a gala attended by dignitaries and celebrities held in Lagos.
As celebrities, the spotlight was on those who were and were not present at Davido-Chioma’s wedding.
In the same way, a few weeks after the wedding, social media has been flooded with numerous photos showing Davido posing with Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Portable.

Other figures featured in the image include Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW.
The photo collage uploaded on Instagram and Facebook has garnered more than a thousand interactions.
Verification:
Ripples Nigeria critically examined the photos and observed striking similarities: the figures were wearing the same clothing design and watches.
However, further inspection using an image verification tool yielded a genuine image showing Davido and Israel DMW together.

It appears that the head in the original image was cut off and replaced with a photo of another character’s head.
Meanwhile, in several articles, various media outlets reported celebrities who were and were not present at Davido-Chioma’s wedding. Wizkid and Portable were reported to be absent from the party.
Although Burna Boy was reportedly present at the party, he was not photographed in the pose claimed in the viral photo.
Conclusion:
