FEC held a special session for Buhari on Thursday

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) will hold a special session to respect the late former President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.

Buhari, who died at London Hospital on Sunday, was laid at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.

Special advisors about information and strategies to the President, Bayo Onanuga, revealed this in a statement about his X -grip on Wednesday.

He said the expanded FEC meeting was scheduled for the presidential villa, Abuja, would be attended by the leadership of the national assembly, judiciary, and representatives of the family of the former president.

The regular FEC meeting scheduled for Monday was postponed to enable President Tinubu and his team to attend the funeral of the late leader in Daura.
