Federal government’s scholarship price 2025/2026

Federal Government Scholarship Prize For Nigerian students in Nigerian public establishments, 2025/2026 – The scholarship request is open to undergraduate, undergraduate, HND and NCE students. The deadline for submission of requests for the Nigerian Price Stock Exchange (NA) is June 20, 2025. See the requirements and the request procedure below.

The Honorable Minister of Education (HME), Mallam Adamu Adamu invites by the present applications for Nigerian students qualified in Nigerian public establishments of the Public Tertiary to participate in IT tests of appointment in 2025/2026 (CBT) for holdable scholarships in Nigerian tertiary establishments.

Federal government eligibility of tertiary tertiary government scholarships

• Candidates for third cycle studies should have a minimum of first degree with second upper division honors.
• The candidate must be recorded full -time students from federal or state universities.
• All other candidates (UG, HND & NCE) must be recorded full -time during their second year or more in federal or state, polytechnic, monotechnical and education colleges.
• All candidates for undergraduate scholarships (including physically inclusive) must have at least 4.0 cumulative quality points (CGPA) on a scale of five (5) points or its equivalents or 5.0 on a scale of 7 points.
• All NCE and HND candidates must have a 3.5 and more CGPA on a scale of 4.0

NB:

• The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria and takes effect from the start of the academic session.
• It will not be held at the same time with another price or for part -time studies.
• The change in course or institution is not authorized.
• The change of course or institution is not authorized while benefiting from the price.

5. Liberal arts / Social sciences / management
6. Entrepreneurial studies,
7. TIC
8. Environmental sciences
9. Law

How to request a tertiary institution scholarship from the federal government

All qualified candidates are invited to:

• Visit the Federal Ministry of Education website www.education.gov.ng And click on the Federal Scholarship Board icon on the home page:
• Read the directives, then fill out the online request form
• Print the exam slip.
• The double entries will be disqualified!
