In line with the commitment of President Bola Tinubu in guaranteeing food enough, the management of the Benin-Owna River Basin Development Authority (Borbda) has reaffirmed its commitment to improve food safety throughout the nation.
The new CEO of Bourbda, Dr. Femi Adekanmbi, ensured the Nigerians the readiness of the agency to implement strategic measures aimed at reducing food prices.
He underlined the need for cooperation by the host communities in which the various projects of the basin are found, underlining the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving this goal.
Speaking shortly after taking on the assignment, the MD said that he and his team were committed to working diligently to fulfill the Agency’s mandate.
He also extended an invitation to investors in the agri -food sector to exploit the opportunities that the new direction intends to create.
He stressed that the Agency’s resourcefulness and multipurpose approach would have favored significant growth in agricultural production and food availability.
