FG set to pay the backgrounds of the Salarial Award

[Press Release] The Federal Government is destined to pay the five -month suspended arrears N35.000 for the employees of the Federal Government.

The General Accounting Office of the Federation (OAGF) made this known in a declaration issued on the day of Mo, on April 28, 2025, in Abuja.

The OAGF explained that the Federal Government had previously paid five months of salary to employees of the Federal Government in installments, adding that the outstanding arrears would be paid to installments of N35,000 per month for five months.

The OAGF said that the first episode of the arrears of the outstanding wage prize will be paid after the salary April 2025.

“The backgrounds of the Salario Prize would not be paid with a salary April 2025; it will arrive immediately after the salary has been paid,” said Oagf.

The office reiterated the determination of the federal government to fully implement all the policies and agreements relating to the remuneration and well -being of staff to improve productivity and efficiency.
