The Nigerian midfielder, Onuche Ogbelu, offered a strong performance for Tunisia Esperance in the FIFA Club World Cup, starting the three games for the Tunisian side.
Operating as defensive midfielder, Ogbelu impressed with his composure and efficiency.
He registered 0.07 expected assists, completed 91 successful passes with a pass precision of 87.5% and achieved a success rate of 83.3% in long balls.
The 22 -year -old had 133 touches, won five fouls and completed 33.3% of his dribbles.
Defensively, he was only given more than three times, he made 17 recoveries of the ball, committed only six fouls and recorded a 46.2% duel success rate along with a 50% success rate.

Ogbelu, a product of the Nigeria football ecosystem, began his career at the Fosla Academy before moving next to NPFL Nasarawa United. In September 2023, he signed a three -year contract with Es Tunis.
Ogbelu is also a former Youth International from Nigeria. He represented the country in the U-20 Cup of Africa 2023, helping the team to finish third.
