Finidi George has reportedly resigned from his role as head coach of the Super Eagles. Popular sports journalist Toyin Ibitoye revealed this on X a few minutes ago. “News right in Finidi George @FinidiGeorge_FG has resigned from his position as manager of the @NGSuperEagles” Finidi, former Nigerian international and member of the iconic 1994 Super Eagles team that won their second national Africa Cup of Nations title, has took over as head coach last month. His resignation comes just days after the NFF revealed it was looking for a foreign technical consultant following a poor run in the WCQ.
