A newly built house in Ejebba, in the Delta State, was swallowed up by a fire just two weeks after the owner moved.
The tragic event was reported for the first time by a lady on social media that wrote: “This happened to Ejebba. The newly built house of a young man went up in flames and are not even up to 2 weeks in which the boy made his suitcases. The fire started due to the incorrect connection of the solar panel”.
A video that circulates online showed thick smoke and intense flames that consume the building, with neighbors and passers -by who look helplessly while hell raged.
Witnesses said that the fire, suspected of starting from an installation of a defective sun panel, quickly spread through the structure, leaving the owner of the house with strong losses.
Starting from the moment of this relationship, it was not clear whether any emergency service responded to the blaze and the total measure of the damage had not yet been officially evaluated.
