Five Nigerians have found themselves with the best in the world in the FIFA Club World Cup

The 32 teams have presented their squadrons for the FIFA 2025 Club World Cup.

The tournament begins on Sunday, June 15, 2025, with Inter Miami against Al Ahly.

Five Nigerians participate in the tournament.

First, Zaidu Sanusi, a Nigeria international, has been included in the FC Porto team. Zaidu has been a usual one for the Super Eagles before his injury.

2024 headlines of the AF Al Ain Champions League have three Nigerians in their team:

Halilu Sarki, Joshua UDOH and Hassan Sani Muhammed.

Sarki was a member of the U20 team that represented Nigeria in the last U20 World Cup.

UDOH is a 17 -year -old midfielder who unfolds mainly as an attacking midfielder, while Sani is an 18 -year -old goalkeeper who was recently promoted to the senior team.

Onuche Ogbelu, a former Flying Eagles midfielder, has also been appointed in the Esperance team for the FIFA Club World Cup.

This is a great opportunity for Nigerian players to demonstrate themselves, since they rub with some of the best players in the world.

Nigeria coach Eric Chelle will monitor them closely while seeking to bring the best talents to the configuration of the national team.
