Flamingos established for the World Cup World Cup Classification Crucial Crucial with Algeria in Ikenne

Nigeria U17 national team, the flamenco, are intensifying the preparations before their crucial classification bail of the FIFA U17 World Cup against Algeria.

The first game will take place this weekend at the Stars Stadium Remo in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun state.

Directed by coach Bankole Olowooke, the 2022 World Cup bronze medalists have been training at the Stars Sports Institute rowing since they defeated South Africa in the previous round.

The flamenco secured a convincing 5-1 aggregate victory over the South Africans, winning 3-1 in Pretoria and 2-0 in Ikenne.

Algeria, on the other hand, recovered from a 2-1 defeat in the first leg against Botswana in Gaborone with an emphatic 4-0 victory in the return section to reach this stage.

The Algerian team is scheduled to get to Lagos on Wednesday night, with the expected party officials on Thursday.

The officiating team will be led by Uganda referee Shamirah Nabadda. She will be assisted by Burundi’s Fides Banguambona (assistant referee 1), and the Ugandes immaculate to Ongiera (assistant referee 2) and Diana Murungi (fourth official). NaA Odofoley Nortey de Ghana will serve as a party commissioner, while Deidre Carmill Zealand of South Africa will be the referee advisor.

The second section is scheduled for April 25 at Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida, Algeria. The winner on both legs will reserve a place in the finals of the FIFA U17 Women’s Cup.

This year’s tournament will be organized by Morocco from October 17 to November 8. With an expanded format of 24 nations, Africa will be represented by five teams, including the host nation.
