Flying Eagles defeated Abuja Club in a warm -up game for Afcon

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles has begun to wrap preparations for their participation at the African U-20 2025 (AFCON) Nation Cup with a win in a warm-up match.

The Flying Eagles, led by coach Aliyu Zubairu, defeated Moran FC 2-1 in a test match in Abuja on Friday.

KParobo Arierthi and Benjamin are valuable on target for the National Youth Team.

Continental champions seven times, are expected to play two more friendship in Cairo next week, will fly to Egypt for competition on Sunday.

Nigeria has been withdrawn in Group B with Tunisia, Kenya and Morocco. They faced Tunisia in Cairo on Thursday, May 1.

Three days after a clash with Tunisia, Flying Eagles will face Morocco, before completing their group phase experience against Kenya on Wednesday, May 7.

The four semifinalists in the tournament in Egypt will fly the African flag at the FIFA U20 World Cup this year in Chile, collected for 27 September to 19 October.
