Well as for Southgate I have never been convinced with his tactical ideas even those times they were going far in competitions because right now he has luxury of players even though they are not world class but majority of them can suite the modern day football irrespective of the tactics.. I believe he should use a 3 midfield of Foden, Rice and Jude and the front 3 of Kane, Saka and Gordon then Palmer can come in for either Foden or Saka.. As for the pep boys doing below par in the national team well it shows how good and sound pep football idea is and I believe majority of us can correct our thoughts that he's using world class players to achieve his success
