Force cid clarifies the claims that accuse Rema of using its officers to attack

The Criminal Investigation Department of the Troops (FCID) has rejected an online report that accused that his operations helped Afrobeats Star Rema in attacking the interior decorator that was reported to be contracted.

On Tuesday, September 16, a Nigerian software artist, @software_artist, took X to accuse the singer of intimidating the interior decorator, Amaka, with the help of police officials.

Software artists claim in a series of tweets that the singer hired Amaka to overhaul his new home, but even after he finished the work, the singer allegedly refused to pay the remaining amount.

He then accused several award -winning singers who intimidated Amaka with the police because he refused to pay the services he had given.

In a statement released on Wednesday in response to the accusations of software artists, FCID Alagbon ASP spokesman ASP Maiyegun Aminat accused Amaka of violating the contract.

He wrote, “In this case, a written petition was submitted to FCID. The applicant stated that the agreement was included on April 4, 2023 with Miss Amaka Obasi, which operates with the business name of the Ardeb lifestyle company, for a project assessed on ₦ 386,000. Some payments ₦ 287,000,000 agreed upon, with a copy of agreed.

” However, after being examined, the applicant found that the project was incomplete and the furniture claimed to have been sent was not in the building. Further investigations revealed that after receiving funds, Miss Obasi failed to meet the signed agreement provisions and vice versa transfer some money to another account.

” Investigators also noted that the account number used by the Ardeb Lifestyle Company was not connected or registered correctly. Both parties are advised to involve independent appraisers to ensure the position of funds and project implementation. Instead, Miss Obasi refused to give an appraiser or legal representative report until he was finally arrested today.

” The public hereby urged to be aware of people who circulate misleading information aimed at deceiving the nigerians who are well-mean. It is important to reiterate that the Nigerian police do not serve personal interests or revenge but are strictly operating in accordance with the law. “
