Former ABS ILORIN DEFENDOR FC, Benjamin Frederick helps Super Eagles lift the first trophy in 12 years

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin Football Club celebrates our own Benjamin Frederick, who made his debut for the Super Eagles.

The talented young man appeared against Jamaica in the final of the Unity Cup on Saturday, and was instrumental when Nigeria beat Jamaica raising a trophy twelve years after AFCon’s victory in South Africa.

After a 2-2 draw at the regulation time, the Super Eagles emerged champions after 5-4 victorious left through penalties.

This feat is a testimony of the hard work, dedication and unwavering passion of Frederick for the beautiful game. While the iconic green t -shirt was placed, he embodied the spirit of the super eagles, showing his skills and commitment to the team.

We, in ABS ILORIN FC, are deeply proud of your progress and wish you the best with the Super Eagles.
