Former Konga CEO, Nick Imudia reportedly committed suicide

Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of e-commerce giant, Konga, Nick Imudia, has reportedly died after he committed suicide at his home in Lekki, Lagos.

According to sources, Imudia, who is also the CEO of D.light, an innovator of residential solar energy solutions, allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday night, by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki.

According to sources, before committing suicide, Imudia, who was born in Ika, Delta State, had called his brother who lives in the United States, to give instructions on how to distribute his wealth if something happened to him.

He was also said to have contacted his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her he would always be there for her and she only needed to look to the sky to see him.

Young Imudia’s death is said to have left his friends, family and business associates shocked as there is no known reason why he committed suicide as he did not leave a suicide note.
