Formula 1: Lando Norris wins Monaco GP with impeccable impulse

Lando Norris de McLaren demanded a first historical and historical victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, executing an almost perfect trip from the pole to the checkered flag.

With the new rule of three compounds tires that threatens to shake the procedures, Norris adapted coldly and led the race from beginning to end, comfortably ahead of Charles Leclerc de Ferrari and his teammate Oscar Piastri, who completed the podium.

Shaking of the championship

The second victory of the Norris season reduces the gap in the upper part of the pilot classification. Piastri now leads for only three points, while Max Verstappen of Red Bull, who finished fourth, falls 25 points out of the top.

Pilot Championship (Top 3):

New rough rule, same procession

The new Formula 1 mandate that required the use of three different tire compounds during the race was intended to inject unpredictability into the traditionally processional circuit of Monaco.

However, the expected chaos never materialized.
The only remarkable incident appeared on the return one, when Gabriel Bortoleto de Sauber crashed, causing a virtual security car.

From there, the race settled in a strategic waiting game with little overtaking among favorites.

How the race was developed

Norris maintained his advantage in the post in curve 1 and led the top 10, who had an early position.

Norris, Leclerc and Piastri used the same tire strategy: means to begin, followed by two periods of Tyre.

Verstappen, which lacks pneumatic flexibility, performed an inverted strategy, began with darts, then media and banking in a late incident to save a final period of soft tires.

Red Bull delayed his final stop as long as possible, waiting for a red flag, but none came.

Verstappen finally faced with just one return to go, delivering third to Piasstri and forming for the room.

Hamilton Quinto, Alonso’s nightmare continues

Lewis Hamilton brought his Ferrari home in fifth place, ahead of Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), who completed a strategy of two early stops to run until the end with hard tires.

The season of Fernando Alonso del Hello lasted. He suffered an engine fault and retired for the fourth time in 2025, still useless, coinciding with his sad start to McLaren-Honda 2015.
