Judge James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday sentenced four Boko Haram terrorists to life imprisonment.
The judge handed down the verdict after they pleaded guilty to the charges brought against them by the Federal Government.
A witness from the Department of State Services (DSS) gave evidence against the convict during the trial.
Judge Omotosho, on Tuesday, also convicted and sentenced 14 others to varying prison terms, ranging from 20 to 25 years on each charge brought against them.
The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Lareef Fagbemi (SAN), led federal government lawyers, including Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, in the trial.

The convict’s confession statement and investigation report are submitted by the prosecutor through the DSS witness and are accepted as evidence and marked as evidence.
The inmates are – Ali Abiso, Bakura Abah Kabiru, Ado (aka Luka Garba) and Babagoni Masawai.
In one of the indictments marked: FHC/KNJ/CR/509/2026, the Federal Government lists Abiso as the sole defendant.
After the charges were read to him, Abiso pleaded guilty to all four charges.
Judge Omotosho, who sentenced Abiso to life imprisonment on counts two and four, sentenced him to 25 years’ imprisonment on each count one and count three, for a total sentence of 50 years.
However, the judge ordered that the sentences on count one and count three must be served concurrently.
