Four “Honorable Aspiring” Vacancies Eye Central Senatoria headquarters of Innocent Okoh

Since the stage is scheduled for the central senatorial elections of 2025, several aspirants have continued to show their exceptional qualities, in the turn of the attention of the delegates of their respective political parties.

The final goal is to emerge as candidates for the elections, the date of which has yet to be announced by the independent national electoral commission (INC).

Among the aspirants who have expressed interest in the senatorial position there are four important politicians who have made a significant contribution to their electoral colleges and the areas of the local government. I am:

On Friday Obomezele Itulah, of Uromi in the LGA Nord East of the state of Edo, is a Nigerian politician, a legal practitioner and a two -stroke ex -assembly house. He worked as a member of the Chamber of Representatives, National Assembly, which represents Esan North-East/Esan South-East from 2007 to 2015. During his mandate, he facilitated several projects, including healthcare facilities and wells, gaining respect in his hometown, Uromi.

Itulah had previously aspired for the senatorial polling station in 2023, but had been eliminated by Senator Clifford Ordia. He also contested the elections of ThgoverniorshipP in 2024, but resigned due to the party’s decisions. This time, he is determined to guarantee the senatorial seat, in front of a strong competition by the Hon. John Yakubu in primary elections.

Hon. Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, of Ugboha in Esan South East LGA, is a cheese from the Federal Representative Chamber, which represents the federal electoral college of the North East/South -est. He graduated from the Auchi Polytechnic and promoted his education at the University of Benin. Before venturing into politics, Ogun worked in the oil sector of Nigeria.

Ogun’s passion for education, health care, wealth creation, youth and women’s empowerment led to the institution of the Sergius Ongiusochie Ogun Foundation (Soof) in 2007. The Foundation is constantly engaged in annual empowerment programs, for the benefit of over 50,000 people in the last decade.

As a dedicated public employee, Ogun focused on the development of infrastructures in his electoral college, recognizing the importance of basic services such as roads and health structures. Under his leadership, significant progress have been carried out in the construction of new roads, in the creation of a firefighters’ station and in the improvement of primary health services.

Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea, of Ewatto in the LGA in the South -est of Esan, was president of the local government council of the southeast from 2013 to 2016 and as commissioner of the Edo State for minerals, oil and gas. In 2015, he contested the elections of the Chamber of Representatives under the APC but lost against the Hon. Sergius Ogun.

Ikpea has a vast knowledge of the oil and gas industry and is renowned for its philanthropic efforts, which have had a positive impact on its community and Esan land as a whole.

Hon. John Yakubu, a forms of the local government area of โ€‹โ€‹the North East of Esan, was the hosagia Ize-Iyamu racing partner in the government elections of the Edo 2016 state. Born in Uromi on June 21, 1965, Yakubu is Christian and tireless philanthropist.

Yakubu Studieaccortencycy at Auchi Polytechnic and holds an MBA at the University of Benin. He worked as an accountant and did marketing and public relations functions. Yakubu manages a chain of commercial activities in Benin City and is an active member of the Nigerian association of liquefied oil marketing marketing (Nalpgam).

In his service to the community, Yakubu was president of the Uromi youth movement and the Esan League of Youths, promoting the interests of the ESAN people.
