The Europa League champions, Tottenham Hotspur, named Thomas Frank as their new manager.
Frank, who joins Brentford Spurs, repels Ange Postecoglou.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Frank as our new chief coach with a contract that extends until 2028,” Spurs announced.
“Thomas has extensive experience in English football that has joined Brentford in 2016, since he became one of the oldest current managers in the Premier League.

“During his time in Brentford, he transformed the club, transferring them from the championship to a established Premier League team, constantly and significantly exceed expectations during a prolonged period of time.
“In Thomas we are designating one of the most progressive and innovative chief coaches within the game. He has a proven record in the development of players and squads and we hope he will lead the team while we prepare for the season that is coming.
“Thomas will join Brentford by Justin Cochrane (Assistant Coach of the First Team), Chris Haslam (Chief of Performance and Assistant Coach of the First Team) and Joe Newton (coach analyst for the first team), with Andreas Georgson (attending the first team assistant) who arrived from Manchester United.”
