The governor of the state of the suspended rivers, Siminalayi Fubara, visited the minister of the territory of the federal capital, Nyesom Wike.
According to Premium times, Fubara visited Wike in his home in Abuja on Friday 18 April, to ask for reconciliation.
The visit came shortly after Fubara met President Bola Tinubu in London to discuss political tension between him and Wike.
During the visit, according to Fubara reported, he knelt and prostrate before Wike, keeping his legs and turning to him with deep respect, calling him “my Ogna”.
He remained in the Wike residence until the early hours of Saturday 19 April.
This visit followed the emergency rule of President Tinubu in the state of sparrows and the suspension of Fubara and other officials elected for an initial six -month period, as part of the efforts to prevent the crisis from growing.
While the exact details of the meeting have not been made public, sources that are familiar with the issue revealed that in Fubara it was advised to return to the rivers and speak openly with his supporters, in particular the elderly, on the problems between him and Wike.
The spokesperson of both fields remained silent about what was discussed.
The Wike media assistant confirmed that the meeting took place but did not give further comments.
The Fubara spokesman refused to respond to investigations and efforts to reach the state commissioner of Rivers for information were not successful.
