Ganduje responds to Lamido, reaffirms loyalty towards the APC, denies the relationship that connects Hin to PDP
Abuja (basic reporter) The National President of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has denied the relationships that suggest that it is planning to desert the Democratic Party of the opposition people (PDP), reaffirming his pause loyalty to the APC.
Dr. Ganduje who was responding to a recent comment attributed to the former governor of the state of Jigawa, Alhaji Sule Lamido, who claimed that the APC would soon disintegrated and that those who had previously left the PDP, including Ganduje, would have said rather than going to the PDP, AV would soon receive the Lamido Sule in its fold.
In a statement issued by his head of the press secretary, Edwin Olofu, in Abuja, the national president of the APC described the statement as unfounded and illogical, underlining that there is no reason for him to leave the party in power for what he described as “opposition in the absence”.
Ganduje provided that the PDP will enter extinction by the end of 2025, based on internal quarrels in the party.
“It is evident to any more demanding observer that under the guidance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC continues to earn impetus, with important political figures throughout the country that stand out for the party in large numbers,” says the note.
“With such overwhelming national support, the APC remains focused on the consolidation of its results and on the preparation for a sensational victory in the general elections of 2027.”
“In fact, we will soon receive Lamido because very soon he will not have to go, the PDP is dead.”
Dr. Ganduje reiterated his pride in guiding the APC, the largest political party in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, and reiterated his dedication to deepen the democracy of the internal party and the promotion of sustainable governance and development.
He recommended to Lamido to focus on the resolution of the internal crises of the PDP instead of engaging in unfounded speculations.
The declaration concluded by ensuring the Nigerians who under the guidance of Dr. Ganduje, the APC remains united, focused and committed to delivering his mandate to the Nigerian people.
