Golden Eaglets Name of the final team for U17 AFCON classifiers

The Golden Eaglets led by coach Manu Garba have appointed a final squad for the AFCon Wafu B U17 qualifiers this year.

The team will leave on Wednesday from the country to the city of Yamoussoukro, ivory coast.

In their last friendly game before the tournament, the Eaglets attracted 0-0 with Mop Stars FC on Monday.

The team played a total of 13 friendly games while in the camp, winning 10, drawing two and losing only one. They scored 25 goals and granted five.

The five -time world champions will begin their campaign in the tournament against the chewing of the baby of the Republic of Benin on Wednesday, September 24, before facing Burkina Faso in Group B. Group A has the hosts of Ivory Coast, Republic of Niger, Ghana and Togo.

The games will be played at Stade du Lycée Scientifique in Yamoussoukro, which has a natural grass and was built for the 2023 Africa Cup of Africa.
