The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Gombe state has suspended three officials because of alleged violations.
SDP Publicity Secretary in the state, Abdulkadir Kumo, revealed this in a statement on Saturday at Gombe.
He said that the party suspected the officers because of the behavior that was considered detrimental to its unity
Affected officials are Aaron Yakubu, Assistant Secretary; Lokaman Ekanem, Member of the Central Committee (CCM), and Usman Yahaya, Assistant Secretary of Publicity, respectively.
Kumo said the party executive committee (SEC) approved the suspension at his meeting on Saturday.

“The suspended officials were found to have been involved in big mistakes, actions that were able to cause confusion and division in the party, and political hypocrisy, contrary to the principles and standards of SDP discipline.
“This decision aims to preserve the unity of party, discipline, and integrity of our democratic values as immortalized in the party’s constitution,” he added.
He said the party directed the deferred members to stop parade or carry out any official tasks who were waiting for further investigation.
The spokesman reiterated the party’s commitment to internal democracy and warned that actions that could damage their collective interests would not be forgiven.
