The Chief of Staff for the President of the Tinubu Bola, Femi Gbajabiamila, has provided support for the formation of a new opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He described the development he described healthy for Nigerian democracy and would cancel the perception of the country that slipped into a one party country.
Gbajabiamila, which made a statement on Saturday when speaking with journalists after giving his voice in Surulare in the election of the local council of the State of Lagos, said the opposition coalition was a positive development for Nigerian democracy, however, expressed doubt in the future and its effectiveness.
Gbajabiamila stated that the coalition will promote a broader political involvement throughout the Nigerian multi-party system.

“This is a development that is welcomed with a coalition. This is not the first time we see this. This is a welcome development. In every democracy, we must have several levels of opposition, if not, we will meet with the state of one party. But I’m not sure where he will leave.
“This is a healthy development for democracy. Democracy without opposition is not democracy. There must be strong and male opposition that keeps the government on the toes.
“There must be several levels of opposition in democracy. People must have choices and choices.
“Only through competition like that we deepen democratic values and increase governance. However, for anything that is worthy of the coalition, I’m not sure where he will go, that is, if it will go anywhere,” he said.
