
The Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia has received a major boost with the delivery of a new 32-seater Coaster bus, a generous donation from the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.
This is a timely fulfilment of a promise made by Governor Otti during a reception held in honour of the 2024 Federation President Cup runners-up at his country home in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa.

The Umuahia-based football club, which had transport issues during the last season, can now look forward to a smoother journey to matches and events.

Coach John Obuh, the Chairman of Abia Warriors, expressed his sincere gratitude on receiving the bus. Coach Obuh also stressed that the new bus would do more than ease the club’s logistical burdens.

“The Governor’s generosity will not only reduce our transportation costs but will also drive the entire team to better performance,” Obuh said.
