Governor Bauchi Mohammed inaugurates was to the creation of new Emirates, Chiefdoms

The governor of the state of Bauchi, Bala Mohammed, inaugurated a committee of 41 members on Friday to review the recommendations formulated for the creation of new Emirates, garments and districts throughout the state.

At the inauguration of the committee held at the Council Chamber, Government House, Bauchi, the Governor said that the committee chaired by Alhaji Hamza Koshe had the task of evaluating communications based on equity, equity, socio-political inclusiveness and financial sustainability.

The governor said that the process of creating new Emirates, Chiefdoms and District Heads has the purpose of strengthening traditional institutions, improving local participation in governance and preserving the rich inheritance of the state.

According to him, traditional institutions are a catalyst for development and a pillar to encourage inclusiveness; Therefore, the need for his administration to support the creation of new Emirates, garments and district leaders.

He observed that the committee should have submitted his report within eight weeks and urged them to guarantee justice in the process.

By responding, on behalf of the Committee, the President expressed gratitude to the governor for finding them worthy of being in the committee and promised to present an impartial relationship for traditional development and inclusiveness.
