
GTI Asset Management and Trusts LimitedStrategic partners of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the Presidentsโ Cup (PFC), confirmed the distribution of prize money to the winners and prize-winners on July 9, 2024.

Rangers International FC of Enugu received N150 million for winning the 2023/2024 NPFL season title. The announcement was made by GTI Media Publicity Manager, Andrew Ekejiuba in Lagos. In the menโs PFC, El-Kanemi Warriors FC took home N50 million as winners while runners-up Abia Warriors FC received N20 million.
In the womenโs category, Rivers Angels FC bagged N25 million for their victory, while second-placed Naija Ratels FC from Abuja received N10 million. In addition, individual award winners in the menโs and womenโs categories, including the top scorer, most valuable player and best goalkeeper, received N1 million each.
The clubโs officials and individuals praised GTI, NPFL and NFF for the timely disbursement of the prize money. Amobi Ezeaku, Managing Director and CEO of Enugu Rangers, expressed his gratitude and said the funds would help the team prepare for continental competitions next season. โWe thank NFF, NPFL and GTI Group for their financial commitment. Receiving our prize money promptly enables us to plan for the next season effectively. This marks a new era in our elite league,โ he said.
Enugu Rangers coach Fidelis Ilechukwu also lauded the efforts of GTI Group in restructuring the NPFL, highlighting the teamโs active involvement in the transfer market to strengthen its squad for continental engagements next season.
Allison Ene James, President of Naija Ratels FC, runners-up in the PFC Womenโs category, commended the NFF for a well-organised competition and praised GTIโs dedication to improving the Nigerian football ecosystem.
The swift distribution of prize money underlines GTIโs commitment to supporting Nigerian football, ensuring financial integrity and fostering the growth of the sport.
