Ardan Guker scored a sublime goal as Turkiye began their Euro 2024 campaign on a winning note after beating Georgia 3-1 on Tuesday.
Turkiye opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a spectacular shot by Mert Müldür from 20 meters to the delight of the fans in the stadium.
The team extended its lead in the 27th minute, but the video assistant referee (VAR) disallowed the goal for offside.

However, Georgia leveled the score in the 32nd minute thanks to a low shot from Georges Mikautadze.
Guker took the lead with a sublime shot that went straight to the far corner of the post to make it 2-1.
Kerem Aktürkoğlu took the match out of Georgia’s reach by scoring the third goal to seal maximum points for Turkiye.
